Jo and Paulette Barra - RECOVERED
Praise Jesus! After so many years of recovery and hardships for the Barra family, they have completely recovered from Hurricane Katrina.
The storm was harsh and damaged the Barra's home to where the entire house had to be gutted and rebuilt. Joseph, the man of the house, was determined to rebuild the house even better than it was before. Indeed the Lord had willed it to be! If one looks at the before and after pictures, it is not hard to see the Lord's hand in all of this.
Yes the house is rebuilt, but the faith that has been built in this family far outshines the newly installed walls and appliances! It's just amazing to see the final outcome of such hard work and resilience by the Barra family. Obviously the Father has a special place in His heart for the Barra's. So much was lost, but so much more was gained because of the complete faith in our Lord.
Thanks to those of you who gave to help this family during our three trips to New Orleans to answer the call of the Father. By all means, was this mission the Lord's from the outset. Although we did do a small part in the rebuilding of this home, Joseph did a great majority of it! What a beautiful sight it is to see!
