Gamboa Family

It's hard to imagine living every day in the U.S.A. without the basic amenities of life. Most of us take for granted the running water that flows from our kitchen sinks and the soft feel of a carpet beneath our feet in the morning. The luxury of waking up to a nice hot shower then cooking a nice breakfast over a working stove are things most of us have never been without. These are all things that the family in which God has sent us to serve are lacking.

Imagine your loved ones living in an environment where they were so poor that they could not afford to repair a simple broken window. Once again imagine two elderly people in their 70's without being able to take a warm bath because there is simply not enough money to have running water or even a hot water heater! What would you do? Would you help them or would you allow them to live in misery? When the temperature dips into the 20's overnight and there is no source of heat for the house, how cold do you suppose it would be inside for a family of 4 with no natural gas to light a simple space heater? This is the situation that this family lives in every single day. This is the family that God has sent us to serve for His Glory!
